Coreopsis

Plant type : Annual (but often reseeds itself)

Description: Maroon petals  with yellowish head, and/or maroon centers with outer petals yellow. Nice variety. Mainly blossoms rather than foliage.

Propagating:  Harvest seeds when flower petals have fallen, and head has turned brownish. Many tiny seeds in each seed pod. Seeds may be sown indoors in April with germination in 15- 21 days. Remove old seed heads to prolong bloom.

Plant type : Perennial (Two years to blossom from seed, but worth the wait in cost)

Description: Bright Yellow flowers of abundance. Grows 12''-20' tall and spreads vastly. Will self-seed once established.
