Aster

Plant type : Annual (But often re-seeds itself)

Description:  There are several different kinds of asters, single petal, and curled twisted petals. They are also often mixed with a assorted variety of colors due to cross pollination.  Heights vary from 12-24".

Uses: Use in the for ground of your garden for front color.

Propagating: Harvest seeds when flower petals have fallen, and head has turned brownish. Seeds may be sown indoors in April with germination in 7 days. Outdoors plant in late spring, 10-14 days for germination.
