Swapping House Plants :

Swapping House Plants will soon become available to members within the U.S.  Any Plant that can be cut,  submerged into water and sprout roots, is acceptable.  Please follow the directions below.

Sample instructions:

1)  Cut a 3 " sample off your host plant. 
2)  Remove all leaves ½  way up from the bottom of sample
3)  Add 1½ inches of water in clear glass container.
4)  Submerge sample into the glass container.

That's it :)   Usually takes 3 wks to start sprouting. Change water frequently to prevent spoilage.

Shipping instructions :

1)  After sample has sprouted, DO NOT add dirt to the sprouted sample. In some states that may be illegal. Keep rooted end of sample in water, or a combo of water and paper towel. Submerge sample into a rose container, or saran wrap and tape will work as well. Keep the top end of sample out of the water, and allow it to breathe.

2)  Ship in  water proof bubble wrap or a water proof box.

Credits:

Credits for successfully shipped and sprouted samples will be a 1:1 ratio. Unless you donated to habitat or other non profit organizations.  Ship one sample, receive 1 credit towards a different house plant. Credits may also be used on the seed swapping.
