Foxglove

Biennial

Description:  The flowers are numerous, on a spike, and range from a deep purple to lilac with tiny brown spots interlining the throat of the tubular flower. The leaves form a rosette the first year followed by the flower spike the next year. Grows 1½' -4' tall

Uses: Makes good screen or hedge

Propagating: Harvest seeds when flower petals have fallen and pods and stalk are all that's remaining. Sow seeds outdoors in full sun and in well-drained soil. Grows quickly. Dig up tubers after frost and store
