Description: Clover like purple flowers, with chives for foliage. Bloom in mid to late summer make this an attractive border and edging plant. Foliage resembles fragile spears of grass Grows to 5-10" Spread 12 inches Uses: May be used in rock gardens or borders. Chives and flowers may be used for salads, egg dishes and sauces of all kinds. Also great with cream cheese, and on baked potatoes. Propagating: Harvest seeds when flower petals have turned brownish in color. Seeds may be sown indoors or outside after frost in April with germination in 10 days. Plant ½" deep in rows 12" apart. As soon as seedlings are established, thin to 6" apart.
