To reduce cooking odor of cabbage, place a few seeds in muslin bag, tie and add to cooking water. Use young leaves in salads and soups; Cook old leaves like spinach. Propagating: Harvest seeds in late fall when flowers have turned brown. Sow seeds in spring or late summer, 1/4" deep in rows 1' apart. As soon as seedlings are established, thin to 1' apart.
