Dainty little plant. 18" in Height, 9-12" spread. Uses: Anise seed adds rich flavor to cookies, cakes, candies, bread, and applesauce. Widely used in Indian curries and stews. Flavors the liquors anisette and absinthe. Use fresh leaves in salads. Propagating: Harvest seeds in late fall when flowers have turned brown and seed heads are dry. Sow seeds in mid-spring ½ in. deep.
